REVIEW OF INFORMAL SOCIAL PROTECTION INNOVATIONS IN MUTUAL AID AND MICROINSURANCE
REVIEW INOVASI PERLINDUNGAN SOSIAL INFORMAL PADA GOTONG ROYONG DAN ASURANSI MIKRO
Abstract
Kemunculan pandemi COVID-19 disertai digitalisasi membuat masyarakat melakukan adaptasi dan inovasi. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada perlindungan sosial informal. dimana konsep lokal memasukkan teknologi dan melakukan restrukturasi kelembagaan. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk melihat motif inovasi perlindungan sosial informal pada masa pandemi. Untuk mencapai tujuan itu kami menggunakan pendekatan kajian literatur sistematis dengan mengkaji literature penelitian darii basis data jurnal. Temuan menunjukkan jika motif inovasi perlindungan sosial informal cenderung mengarah pada ekonomi walaupun ada motif lain seperti kesehatan dan sosial. Inovasi ini memiliki potensi jangka pendek dan jangka panjang. Inovasi bertahan dalam jangka pendek jika pola-pola sebelum pandemi masih lebih unggul. Adapun dapat berefek jangka panjang jika inovasi ini mampu membuat perlindungan sosial informal bertahan dan maju. Kami menilai jika inovasi berupa penggunaan teknologi hanya sebagai media perlindungan sosial informal dan esensinya terletak pada nilai-nilai yang ada pada konsep itu. Keterbatasan perlindungan sosial informal perlu dipertimbangkan sehingga konsep ini perlu berkolaborasi dengan perlindungan sosial formal
